Ariana's Music Career

                                                                            Ariana's first album: Yours Truly (2013)

Ariana made her transition into music with the release of yours truly. The album was a huge success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (Dailey, 2024). The lead single, "The Way" featuring Mac Miller, became a huge hit, at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Dailey, 2024).

Ariana's second album: My Everything (2014)

 This album featured collaborations with well known artists such as Zedd, Iggy Azalea, and The Weeknd. Hits like "Problem", "Bang Bang", and "Love Me Harder" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (Dailey, 2024). "Problem"  became a massive success, peaking at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and being certified multi-Platinum (Dailey, 2024).

Ariana's third album: Dangerous women (2016)

Dangerous Woman debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and “Into You” became one of her most popular songs on the album. (Dailey, 2024). Another popular song was "Side to Side".

Manchester Arena Bombing One Love Manchester Concert (2017)
A bombing happened at her Dangerous Woman tour concert in Manchester, UK, on May 22, 2017 
(Dailey, 2024). Twenty-two fans lost their lives, and Ariana showed empathy and strength by organizing a benefit concert, One Love Manchester (Dailey, 2024). The event raised millions of dollars for victims and their families. 






Ariana connects with 
authenticity because she contributed to the community and built trust with her fans (Olumogba, 2025). Ariana visited the children who got injured from the Manchester bombing and organized a concert that raised millions of dollars for victims and their families.

Ariana's fourth album: Sweetener (2018)

Sweetener was an album that won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album (Dailey, 2024). The album has poplar songs such as "No Tears Left to Cry", "God Is a Woman", and "Breathin". "No Tears Left to Cry" became extremely popular debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Dailey, 2024).

Ariana's fifth album: Thank you next (2019)

Ariana released Thank U, Next, an album inspired by her personal life. Thank U, Next was Ariana’s first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200. the most popular songs on the album are, "7 Rings" and "Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored" (Dailey, 2024). "Thank U, Next" became one of the most iconic songs of 2019 (Dailey, 2024).

Ariana's sixth album: Positions (2020)

Ariana released Positions. The album was a massive success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Dailey, 2024). 
Ariana has continued to collaborate with well-known artists, such as The Weeknd on "Save Your Tears" (Remix) and Lady Gaga on "Rain on Me." Her collaboration with Lady Gaga won a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (Dailey, 2024).

Ariana's seventh album: Eternal sunshine (2024)

After not releasing music for about 4 years Ariana released an album called Eternal sunshine. Eternal sunshine debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (Dailey, 2024). The lead single “Yes, And?” debuted at the Billboard top Hot 100 No.1 (Dailey, 2024).
Ariana connects with time because she always engages with her fans through her persistent presence on Instagram (Olumogba, 2025). When she announced her new tour fans went crazy and were full of excitement. However, the tickets sold out extremely fast leaving fans devastated. Later it has been revealed that resellers on Ticketmaster have been trying to resell their tickets for crazy prices up to 1.2 million dollars (Lasimone, 2025). Ariana took the time to see this issue and spoke up on her Instagram platform. She posted on her Instagram story on September thirteenth, sharing how she sees the issue and she is bothered by it (Lasimone, 2025). She went on to say that her and her team care very much and will do everything they can to fix this issue (Lasimone, 2025).
